Let’s just quickly summarize what MAP is in a few short sentences.

How to create a free account in MAP Phase 3

The first thing you’ll want to do is click the banner above (or any button or image below). It will take you straight to the account registration page where you will see a form like this:

Please note: this form can change, as there’s a lot going on in MAP regarding split testing, and this form will adapt to whatever converts best. But it’s always the same procedure, so click the big blue button. It will open a popup window where you’ll input your details, that is, your username and email to create a free account in MAP.

This email has to be correct, because as everything else, also user registration is a 2-part process. The system will define your password and send it to the mail you selected, and there is no way you can continue the registration process if you don’t have access to this email.

Check your inbox, also the spam folders if you can’t see the mail from MAP within minutes, and input the password in the field provided.

When you do that, you’re done, and the process to create a free account in MAP is finished.

The next screen you see will be a special offer from John and Omar regarding a traffic training. Watch the video; this training is general, but also reworked to be more specific to MAP, so I suggest you grab it. The price is (at the time of writing) only $9.95 and it consists of a video (roughly an hour long) and an ebook that you can reference at will later.

If you say NO to this offer (link at the bottom of the form), you will have an option to buy the ebook alone (I believe it’s $4.95) should you rather just have this.

In any case, I strongly suggest you grab it, because it’s really useful to start promoting MAP as soon as possible and earn those commissions. 🙂

Create a free account in MAP: First entry

After you successfuly finish the free account registration, you will enter MAP as a member for the first time. The screen that will open will look like this.

Here are the main elements that you’ll see on the screen.

• Welcome video: You must absolutely watch this; John and Omar will explain a few of the most important parts, and you want to learn where everything is.
• Your OneLink: right at the top, you’ll see a label that says “Your MAP Link:”. The link to the right is you personal MAP link, called OneLink, that you will use to promote anything inside MAP membership to others. So, once you’re familiar with everything, you’ll go and spread this link all over the web.
• Promo Tools link: The left menu on the site (hamburger menu, labeled simply “Menu”) contains all of the training pages, this is where you can find your training material as well as promotional tools to aid your affiliate marketing efforts. Each page has it’s own respective tools by theme, so the Email Marketing training page contains the email marketing tools. This link will hold the same links, so you can access your promo tools easily.
• Commissions: As a free level member, you will be awarded 25% commissions for every sale you make. This is where you’ll see the numbers, and hopefuly they will not be zero for long.

This section is really great, and I’ll tell you why: like I said, it will show you your commissions to date. But to the right it will also show you commissions you would earn if you would upgrade to higher levels, and I can tell you this will make you think about that. To show you what it looks like for a Platinum user, here’s the screen from when I made my first sale as a MAP backer:

The good thing is it will also speak the same language to all the people you invite to the free membership – and that’s one of the points of MAP.

Just below that section, you’ll also see your quick stats, showing the number of clicks to your OneLink and any leads you’ve made so far.

And further below that you’ll find a leaderboard, showing the highest earners in MAP ecosystem this month, last month or all time (switchable). Yes, people have made over 50k with MAP in a year since it’s been available… Think about that.

How to continue after you create a free account in MAP

Unless you’re at least somewhat experienced in affiliate marketing, I’d suggest against immediately posting your MAP OneLink around. It is not that clear what you’re getting when you sign up, and many people will think it’s just another of those inbox-filling email list – they’ll simply not sign up.

You’ll have to do a little work first, and I really suggest you go through at least some of the training modules you’ll find in the main menu. Depending on your level of knowledge, I would most probably start with Traffic Training – if you’ve grabbed the traffic training during account creation, check that too.

If you’d like any additional training, and this is true for all modules, you’ll always have an option to buy it or upgrade to a paid membership level where these trainings are included by default.

After that, you’ll easily follow the path that John and Omar show you. The next best thing you can do is go through the Email Marketing courses.

Should you upgrade after you create a free account in MAP?

From my standing point as an affiliate, yes, of course. I’ll make money when that happens. 🙂

TIP: You’ll feel the same once you create a free account in MAP, I promise.

But seriously, I don’t know. It depends on your plans, wishes and – of course – budget.

Personally, I’ve grabbed the Platinum Membership when it was available during MAP Phase 2. This brings a whole lot of candies, but I did pay $797 for it. Maybe I was lucky, because I had the budget at that time, but honestly I also still have great plans for it. So I’ve decided and bought it at the time.

You, on the other hand, may not want to upgrade immediately, and I can fully understand that. Just take a few days, check the training modules, and decide as you go. Earning possibilities are great with the MAP ecosystem, and there’s a very good chance you’ll make some bucks monthly if you manage to get a certain number of subscribers into the system. And the courses in your account will help you long-term, because they will help you build a business in any niche you choose.

You’ll have to consider factors like your existing knowledge and assets (like email lists, websites, etc.), and then along with your overall marketing budget you’ll be able to make an informed decision and decide for the level you want to join. And that’s about everything I have to say about it right now.

Conclusion – How to create a free account in MAP

You’ve seen it’s actually no big deal, if you have Internet access and an email address, you have everything you need to create a free account in MAP.

In order to upgrade to a higher MAP Membership level and later on collect the earned commissions, you’ll have to have at least a PayPal account too, because that’s one of the options to receive payments from MAP.

And, as you’ll learn inside the membership, there are certain tools that you’ll need also; among those, an autoresponder (like Aweber, or Sendiio) and a website are the bare minimum. An autoresponder because you really can’t imagine affiliate marketing without email marketing and MAP is strongly directed towards helping you build your email list, and a website to promote everything, of course.

But those things will become clear as you progress through the training modules. You probably have some of those tools, so it will be easier and faster for you.
